This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store, and safeguard your personal information when you use our platform for on-demand doorstep scrap collection, Upcycled Creators Studio purchases, fleet logistics routing (Nivara Go), and recycling plant hub operations (Nivara Hub). We are committed to upholding your privacy rights in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and applicable Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines for electronic payouts.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum necessary information required to deliver verified doorstep logistics and payouts:

  • Identity & Contact Data: Name, mobile phone number, and email address for account authentication and OTP verification.
  • Accurate Geolocation Data: High-precision GPS coordinates, street address, and landmark hints provided by you to enable turn-by-turn routing for scrap pickup collectors and real-time ETA tracking.
  • Doorstep Media & Scrap Photos: Photographs of scrap materials uploaded to estimate volume, verify weight scale readings, and audit doorstep weighing authenticity.
  • Financial & Settlement Data: Virtual Payment Address (UPI ID) or Bank Account Number with IFSC Code to disburse instant scrap sale proceeds directly to your account. Note: Payment card details for Upcycled store purchases are tokenized and processed securely via RBI-licensed PCI-DSS Level 1 payment aggregators. We never store CVV or full card numbers.
  • Device & Usage Data: Device model, operating system version, browser user agent, IP address, and application crash diagnostics.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is processed strictly for legitimate operational purposes:

  • To schedule, dispatch, and navigate certified collection partners to your doorstep.
  • To execute instant digital payouts via UPI / IMPS upon completion of weighing and 4-digit PIN verification.
  • To process and fulfill orders placed on our Upcycled Creators Studio storefront.
  • To maintain transparent audit logs required under Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and DPCC recycling mandates.
  • To detect fraud, prevent duplicate claims, and enforce platform security.

4. Zero Sale of Personal Data

We do NOT sell, rent, or monetize your personal or location data to third-party advertisers or data brokers under any circumstances.

Your data is shared exclusively with verified operational partners (e.g., the assigned Nivara Go collector fulfilling your pickup) strictly on a need-to-know basis to complete the requested service.

5. Data Security & Storage

All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3). Stored databases and sensitive fields (such as UPI identifiers and bank tokens) are protected using industry-standard AES-256 bit encryption. We host our infrastructure in certified, secure Indian data centers complying with RBI data localization requirements.

6. Your Rights & Data Erasure (Right to be Forgotten)

Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to:

  • Request a copy of your personal data held by Nivara One.
  • Correct or update inaccurate information in your profile.
  • Request complete deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing admin@nivaraone.in. Data deletion requests are processed within 14 calendar days, subject to mandatory statutory retention requirements for financial transactions.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use essential first-party cookies and browser local storage to maintain your login session, save your language preference, and remember your dark/light theme mode. We do not deploy invasive cross-site tracking cookies.
